A PV system with a nominal output of 1216 kWp generated by 3200 modules on an area of 5'870 sqm is to be installed on the roofs of halls D3 and D4. The owner is Ferrowohlen AG.

The company FFF would like to enlarge its storage space. For this purpose, the existing free space from FFF's car park lends itself to expanding their existing warehouse in the direction of Anglikerstreet. Negotiations are currently underway between FFF and Ferrowohlen.

The municipality of Wohlen intends to rehabilitate the service pipes in the Industriestreet section from FFF to the Villmergerstreet junction. From the Mühlerstreet level crossing to the Anlikerstreet junction, a pavement will be built on the Ferrowohlen parcel. (Area approx. 1'000 sqm)

The roof surfaces of the first projects from 2008 onwards have various age-related leaks. The damaged spots and areas are being repaired on an ongoing basis.

After the completion of construction in 2017, the leaking gutter was reported as a defect within the warranty period. In the course of rectifying the defect, various measures were carried out under the supervision of an external construction manager via the contractor. Due to a constructional defect, the rectification of the defect will be completed in spring 2022.

The new location of the sprinkler basin is the existing, ground-level and open retention basin East. The new sprinkler and retention basin can be accessed by trucks or covered with a building. In addition, new and larger diesel pumps that meet FM Global requirements will be installed. This means that the ring main of the sprinkler pressure line is suitable for the FM Global infrastructure project. The existing sprinkler basin between halls A and B will be dismantled.

REFURBISHMENT NEUTRALISATION PLANT

In order to increase the operational safety of the neutralisation plant and reduce the operating costs, the aim is to automate the dosing of hydrochloric acid and neutralisation. The neutralisation plant is to be set up in such a way that the addition is automatically adjusted to the demand. Normally, it should only be possible to discharge wastewater that meets the requirements of the Water Protection Ordinance.

Digitec would like to increase its storage capacity on the Ferro site. The middle sector of Hall B is suitable for this purpose. The following changes would have to be made to the storage space:
- deconstruction of existing electrical room, north-centre sector.
- addition of docking ramps
- supplement fire protection concept
- reinforce the ground floor for net loads of up to 1.75t/sqm.

Very heavy rainfall can lead to a lot of surface water in the area of the Bünztalstreet and the parallel cycle path. To ensure that this short-term surface water can lead to flooding in Hall A, an approx. 40 cm high flood embankment is being built.

The aim of building a new multi-storey car park is for the employees of the tenants of the Ferro site to park in the car park. This means that the existing parking spaces in the area can be used for new buildings. The East multi-storey car park has capacity for 951 parking spaces.

Due to different settlements in the subsoil, a ground elevation over an area of 80 sqm in the hard concrete floor slab had to be remediated during ongoing operations.
